I love cooking. The problem is thinking of things to cook without repeating foods often. My bestfriend and myself share ideas weekly. My Options are more limited because I don’t eat beef and pork. Anyhow , I will post things I make from scratch , from box and taught by my mom ( can’t give you all the secrets though lol ) .. so enjoy.
In my house fajitas WENT DOWN ! I love tacos and fajitas, makes my heart smile lol.
I used the Old El Paso Kit
First what you want to do is clean your chicken breast and cut it. I like to cut mine into strips ( Julienne Cut ) but hey if you want to cut it in cubes knock yourself out.
Season chicken - since the kit comes with a seasoning packet you don’t have to do a heavy seasoning BUT I still season mine with black pepper, garlic and a little salt
Wash your peppers. Cut into strips and do the same for your onion.
Heat your oil and cook your chicken until it’s white
Add your peppers & the seasoning pack ( you can following the directions) I wing it.
Let them cook down together. Depending on how tender you like your chicken and how soft you want your vegetables. It will determine the length of time you cook these for. I cooked mine for 30 mins because I like it Done Done lol.
The kit comes with shells and also sauce to go on top of the fajitas. I opted for rice instead while my boyfriend used shells.
