It’s okay to have a moment. A moment to vent , y’ell, scream or simply be by yourself. It’s called self care.

Quick example there’s been emotions I held onto in the past couple of months. I held onto them because one.. if you argue with a fool no one will be able to tell the difference between them and you. Two because I know that when I argue it turns really nasty I can say a lot of hurtful things ( that’s just me being honest ). And Three I’m learning that you don’t always have to tell my side of a story as long as I know what’s what that’s all that matters. However through this process I’m managing emotions and some days are great while some days I feel like I’m going to lose it lol. I’m here to tell you it’s okay! It’s a normal part of healing , growing and becoming a better you.

If you feel like you need a moment, identify what you can do or who you can talk to. When I’m going through something the first people to know is my cousin shaunie and two girlfriends. It’s important to have people who you feel like you can confide in, talk to without judgement and even check you when you tripping. It’s important to know ways of coping when your dealing with something. Some things you could do to cope are walk, run, exercise, read, listen to music, go for a walk , write, hobbies , shower or aroma therapy that’s just to name a few.

Again just understanding that it’s okay to have a moment is important. Take care of yourself
